+ What should I expect during my treatment?
This treatment takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Our clinician will listen to your concerns, dicsuss the treatment options, review the risks and post treatment instructions.
Prior to treatment, your primary injection areas may be numbed with a topical numbing cream. Clients may report a slight pinch similiar to a typical needle and may experience minimal discomfort.
+ What is the difference between Restylane and Revanesse?
Both Restylane and Revanesse are brand names for dermal filler products. There are slight differences in the formulation of these products which may result in the clinician chosing one brand over the other. During your initial consultation, you will discuss with your trained injector what product best suits your specific needs.
+ How long will fillers last?
Dermal fillers are a temporary solution, with results lasting approximately 6 months to a year. Fillers can be added at any time to achieve the desired result. Contrary to wrinkle relaxant treatments, dermal filler can be quickly and safely dissolved.
+ What information should I share with LUXE before my treatment?
We require all clients to share important health information such as allergies, vitamins, over the counter medications and all prescription medications.
Patients are required to disclose any previous dermal filler procedures in the past including treatments and brand of injection.
+ How should I prepare for my appointment?
We ask that clients avoid alcohol consumption 24 hours prior. Avoid taking Asprin (unless perscribed by your doctor) for 72 hours prior to the appointment. We highly recommend eating a full meal before you come and staying hydrated.
+ What should I expect after my treatment?
Following your treatment, we will recommend a number of proactive steps to ensure you see optimal results from your dermal filler. You will see immediate results, with the full result in 2 weeks. Some areas may swell or bruise.
Immediately following your appointment:
- Ice the area to reduce swelling and tenderness
- Do not workout for 24 hours following your appointment
- Do not use strong retinols 24 hours following your appointment
- Stay hyrdrated
+ When will I see results?
Clients will see an immediate result from their treatment with full results after 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, we highly recommend a follow-up appointment to review your treatment outcomes.
+ Do I need to maintain my filler?
We highly recommend clients maintain a 6 month filler schedule to continue to experience optimal results. Clients who maintain a six month touch-up schedule require less filler per visit than clients who go longer than six months between appointments
